WARNING: Route
18 construction continues in the New Brunswick area, resulting in
increased traffic congestion. Students are strongly
encouraged to
avoid scheduling back-to-back classes on different campuses during this
construction project. It
is particularly important to allow sufficient travel time between
campuses when you have an exam;
consideration will be not be given to students arriving late to an exam
due to construction delays.
Notice:
You must take the
exam in the room assigned to your section. Taking the exam in the
wrong room will lower your final grade by one letter
grade.
Notice: Electronic or cellular
devices of any kind
are not permitted in the room during the exam. Bringing
electronic
or cellular devices to the exam may result in a grade of zero.

Questions / Review Material / Peer Tutoring?:
- Tracing and Finding Error exercises
are
found at the end of each chapter in Jt's
Conversations on TRUE BASIC. The answer
key for a selection of the excercises begin on page 269 of the text.
- Podcasts on
all course topics, including TRUE BASIC, are
available here.
Scroll down to the section labeled Podcasts. If you already have
iTunes, click on the iTunes
button at the bottom of that page to subscribe to the course
podcasts. If you do not have iTunes software on your computer,
you can download it free from Apple iTunes.
Once subscribed, you can easily select a podcast from the list within
your iTunes. The powerpoints associated with the TRUE BASIC
podcasts are also available earlier on the webpage. These
powerpoints only make sense in color, and thus it is recommended
you view them on-screen Note: Because of printing
restrictions in the labs and the number of pages, it is recommended
that you NOT print the powerpoint presentations.
- For help with time management, study hints,
and to see the schedule of peer tutoring sessions, check the Rutgers
University Learning Centers website.
Reminders:
- Bring current Rutgers ID
which shows photograph and signature.
- You must take the exam in
the room assigned to your group; taking the exam in the wrong room will
mean a reduction of one letter grade in your final course grade.
- Calculators are not
permitted in the room during the exam; using a calculator during
the exam will result in a grade of zero.
- No cellular devices are
permitted in the room during the exam; leave all cellular devices at home. Bringing
cellular devices to the exam room may result in a zero grade.
- Allow sufficient time to arrive at the exam; late arrival may
exclude you from taking the exam.
- Bring a sufficient supply of pens or pencils to complete the
exam; these are not provided.
Note: there are no
pencil sharpeners in the lecture halls
- If you have a class or exam
scheduled at the same time at the CS110 hourly exam, speak with your
instructor and provide documentation of the class/exam before
Thursday, February 28. Students who do not provide acceptable
documentation of a class conflict before
the deadline cannot take the makeup exam. Do not wait until the
deadline to speak with your instructor; by then it's too late!
