Exams for Prof. Steinberg's sections
Rules for Exams
- You must bring:
- a photo Rutgers ID or photo driver's license
- pens or pencils
- You may not bring
- books, notes, or any paper
- telephone, pager, Wireless email device (e.g. Blackberry),
calculator, pocket PC, or any other electronic device except
for a watch that has only time- and date-related functions.
You may leave such items in a zipped purse or
backpack that is too far away to reach.
- You must leave all purses, backpacks, etc, at the front of the room or
far enough away that you can't reach them.
- Hats with visors must be worn with the visor in the back.
Dates
- Midterm Exam: Tuesday, Nov 1, 6:10 - 7:30 PM, 210 Murray (our normal room)
- Final Exam: Group M, Monday Dec 19, 4 - 7 PM. Room: CDL 109.

Note that the question "State in English what g does" is not a
reasonable question since based on the three examples given g could be
many different things. The
function g is intended to be the "sign" function, that is (g x) is -1
when x is negative, 0 x is 0 and 1 when x is positive.
