REMUS NO LONGER ACCEPTS MAIL - The new mail policy that is consolidating email services for DCS means that only CS Majors can aquire mail accounts and they will no longer be on remus. IMAP will work until 10/1/2006 in order for you to move your files, but remus will no longer receive new email as of 8/1/2006. Majors who want a CS mail account should visit Dragon to create a mail account for the domain "cs.rutgers.edu".

NEW COMPUTER SCIENCE EMAIL POLICY - At LCSR we are consolidating our mail services.  Go see what changes are in store and how it affects you!

IRC Bots (and reflectors, and clients, e.g. "psyBNC", "srelay") have no place on the undergraduate machines. Please do not run them. (This is known as the 'gentle warning' part. You know who you are.)

Exceed users: Ketan J. Patel has created a how-to for using Exceed to connect to the undergraduate suns. Give it a look!

Spam-filtering, see our Spam page, and Don Watrous' how to ignore a user page.

Reminder: don't forget to protect your work so that others cannot cheat off of you. See "man chmod".
