LRC Tutor The LRCs are in the process of recruiting new tutors (in many subject areas) for the Spring semester and beyond. Becoming a tutor is a wonderful opportunity to stregthen academic and interpersonal skills. All of our tutors work toward international certification (great for a resume!). Many tutors say tutoring helps them strengthen their knowledge, to prepare for graduate school exams, etc. All tutors start at $7 per hour, but pay rates are raised after certification. Working hours are very flexible. The application is available on our website http://lrc.rutgers.edu - go to employment opportunities at the bottom of the page. Go to the peer tutor position and for the subjects we offer and more detailed information. The application can be submitted on line or paper copies are available at each LRC. |
