Submit the completed powerpoint file to Sakai |
For this assignment, create a PowerPoint presentation. Your presentation will incorporate animation, transition, and slide show features of Power Point into five slides that highlight information about your favorite music, list sources where the music can be purchased, and include the My Favorite Music poster you created for the Paint assignment. The completed, five-slide PowerPoint presentation will be submitted to Sakai.
To avoid losing data or having insufficient RAM memory, first
create the PowerPoint slide that includes the My Favorite Music
poster you created in AppleWorks Paint. To do this:
1. Open the paint file and Copy it into the
Clipboard. Close
the picture file and
Quit AppleWorks Paint.
Note: Your Paint file will not
copy correctly if is has been saved
as a .cwk file. Remove
the .cwk extension before saving the image to the clipboard or desktop.
2. Open Power Point Project Gallery and select a Design from the
Presentations option in the left panel.
Do not use AutoContent
Wizard -- build each slide using New Slide
option on the Insert menu
3. After selecting a presentation design, choose New Slide from
the Insert menu, Picture
from the Layout
options, and Paste
the Paint poster into the slide.
4. Using the New Slide option from the Insert menu,
create
the remaining four slides of your presentation. When you have finished
creating the slides, select the Slide Sorter option
from the View menu (or click on the Slide Sorter icon in the
lower left corner of the window) to arrange the five slides in the
following order:
5. Using the Slide Sorter View, from the View menu:
6. Select Rehearse Timings from the Slide Show menu
to record the duration of each slide (about three to four seconds per
slide); remember to manually click each bullet item in slide two
and include this in the timing of the slide show.
Your total
presentation should run no longer than thirty seconds.
7. From the View menu, select Header/Footer and add a Footer with your name and section number and apply to all slides.
