Applications How To Transfer a Zipped File to Sakai
On a PC Using WinZip
Directions:
1. Create a folder on
the desktop and Save all files in that folder as you work.
2. When you are ready to transfer the folder to Sakai:
a. Select
the folder
b. Right
Click the mouse
c. Select Send
To and then Compressed (zip)
File d. a new folder will appear on the
desktop. It will have the same name as the folder where you have
stored files and the file extension .zip.
3. Submit the .zip (compressed) folder to Sakai. On
a MAC Using Stuffit Expander
Directions: 1. Create a folder on
the desktop and Save all files in that folder as you work.
2. Open the DropZip Program (Applications >
Stuffit Standard 7.0.3 > DropZip)
3. Drag the folder to the DropZip widow. An archive
will be created and placed in the same location where the original
folder is located.
4. Submit the archive (zipped) folder to Sakai.
