 Where the real money is made.In 1997, Department J resulted from the realization that about 1/4 of the people in Beit Riklis (Bet and Gimmel) had names starting with the letter J (special thanks to Jeff Conley, whom I credit with this discovery). In the beginning, all they got was a nice letter I put together every few days with a secret top ten lists and humorous observations about non-J people. This letter was distributed covertly to J people only, which greatly annoyed the remainder of the Beit Riklis population (which was the whole point). I had intended to make a separate web site just for J's to continue our legacy, but never got around to it. Department J was supposed to be the part of BIB that reflected a deeper inner meaning. More recently, it has become the section where we put our best thoughts, and where we plan the ongoing expansion of this web site.
