If you decide to turn off active scripting, here is the way to do it:

- Open your MS Windows Internet Explorer
- Click on the Tools menu and select Internet Options
- Click on Security Tab
- Click on Internet and click on Custom Level
- A Security Settings window will open. Scroll the window until you get to
Scripting. 
- Click Prompt ( if you want IE to ask you to run JavaScript.) or
- Click Disable (to totally disable JavaScript. )
